Ginger Warming Tea

Now that the colder months are here, this Ginger Warming Tea is a favourite way to reap the benefits of ginger root! Ginger has long played a role in traditional medicine, particularly as a digestive aid for things like upset stomach, nausea, and constipation relief. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties, and may offer relief from headaches, colds, and pain caused by inflammation.

Ingredients

Honey to Taste
4 Cups of Hot Water
Fresh Mint for garnish
Ginger Slices (Optional)
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 Cup of Rochester Ginger Original or Rochester Organic Lemon, Lime & Ginger

Method

Mix Hot Water and Rochester Ginger together on the stovetop. Pour in the Lemon Juice, Sliced Ginger and stir. Add Honey to taste and top with Fresh Mint. Pour into your favourite tea cup and enjoy!
